Sports & Recreation for the Family

Our Upstate Sports (formerly SportsLife) ministry is one of the many ways we seek to fulfill the purpose and vision of First Baptist Simpsonville / Upstate Church. There are several sports and recreation opportunities for you and your family.

Gradeschool Basketball League

Join us for a basketball program for kids in K5 thru 5th grade that helps develop skills in the game of basketball while also building character skills for life and teaching them about the love of Christ. Practices will begin in November and will be one night a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, OR Wednesdays at 6:00pm OR 7:00pm. Most games will be played on Saturday mornings. Season runs October 18, 2021 thru January 29, 2022.

Student League Basketball

Sign ups have closed.  All students who are on a team must complete this waiver to be able to play in our 2021-2022 Upstate Students Basketball League. CLICK HERE FOR WAIVER

Basketball Camp for 3rd – 8th graders was a blast this summer! Be on the look out for camp at the end of July 2022!

Join our Upstate Sports team for a fun, competitive sports environment for the entire family to enjoy.  Join us in Winter/Spring 2022!

Clubs & Recreational Events

Basketball and Soccer leagues, Volleyball clinics, Trail Life, American Heritage Girls, Basketball Camps, Seasonal sporting events like Skeet Shoot occur throughout the year and several recreational clubs and events are hosted by First Baptist Simpsonville/Upstate Church.

Boys in K5-12th grade are invited to be part of Trail Life, a Christian Outdoor Adventure, Character and Leadership program that centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a leader and a role model for his peers. Trail Life meets Thursdays at 6:30pm!

The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country.   
Trail Life and American Heritage Girls meet Thursdays at 6:30pm!
