A Teaching Pastor of First Baptist Simpsonville / Upstate Church (hereafter FBS/UC) is responsible for providing leadership, teaching, and direction of assigned campus in all areas of ministry, fully embracing and passionately promoting the overall vision of the church to reach the Upstate of South Carolina. The Campus Pastor will provide leadership, grounded in the authority of the Scriptures and revealed under the power of the Holy Spirit, that meets the needs of the Staff and the membership of FBS/UC through sound Biblical teaching, encouragement, mentoring, discipline, nurturing and protecting in accordance with our mission, vision and core values. While he will serve as the primary Shepherd/Preacher of one specific campus, he will be considered a Teaching pastor for the larger church body of 7,600 members who meet at 10 unique locations.

We are currently looking for a Campus Worship Leader at First Baptist Simpsonville / Upstate Church. FBS/UC averages 3,000 worshipers in 12 services, across 6 campuses.
This contract position primarily serves one campus. The ideal candidate is a gifted worship leader and musician who is very relational and works well with other musicians. They must possess a humble spirit, willing to learn and grow under other Worship Pastors. They must be willing to wholeheartedly believe and support the mission, vision, and values of FBS/UC.
The Campus Worship Leader will lead the congregation in worship each Sunday. They will grow and learn in a team environment with other Campus Worship Leaders, help recruit and build teams, and more.
