Originally located at the corner of Laurens and Haywood Roads, Upstate Church Haywood began when Laurel Baptist Church voted to merge with FBS|UC in April 2022. Since then, it has grown into a thriving, multigenerational congregation made up of former Laurel members and families from across our campuses. In 2026, the campus relocated to the Greenville Convention Center, where two Sunday services offer opportunities for the whole family to connect through Kids, Students, and Groups. We are located at 2 Eisenhower Dr., Greenville, SC 29607
In the Greenville Convention Center. For ease of access, please park near and enter through the entrance off of Eisenhower Dr.
We have convenient parking spaces right up front for guests and handicap/special needs. Turn on your flashers and follow the signs and directions from our parking team.
You will want to plan to be there 5-10 minutes early to allow us the opportunity to help you find your way around.
As you enter the building, please look for our Host Team (wearing lanyards) who are ready to show you around campus and answer your questions.
We want to do everything we can to ensure your experience is a meaningful one so please don’t hesitate to ask how we can help you.
We have exciting worship and groups for Kids. Our Host Team located at the doors and in the lobby will assist you in locating your child’s group.
We offer fun and dynamic opportunities for your children to experience God and to grow spiritually. Preschool and children’s classes meet during worship at 10am & 11:30. Your kids are going to love it. Visit our KIDS page for more information.
Students in 6th-12th grade meet in connect groups at 10:00am on Sundays and our large group gathering called Midweek Worship meets on Wednesday nights at our Mauldin and Simpsonville Campuses.

Presence Pathway is a 6-week journey designed to help you move from simply knowing about God to truly encountering Him. Through daily guided devotionals and a weekly class experience (in person or online), you’ll learn how to slow down, seek the Lord, and build a rhythm of walking with Him in everyday life. In a world full of noise, distraction, and spiritual autopilot, Presence Pathway is an invitation to something deeper. This isn’t about adding another task to your schedule; instead, it’s about reorienting your life around the presence of God. As part of our church-wide initiative, Encounter, this pathway will help you develop intentional habits of prayer, Scripture, and surrender so that your faith moves from routine to relationship. You were made to walk with Him. Presence Pathway is your next step into that reality.
We have two English services on Sunday morning at 10am and 11:30am. We have one Spanish service at 11:30am. Each service runs about 1 hour.
Every 6 to 8 weeks we have a Getting to Know You event so you can learn more about Upstate Church. This is a relaxed, informal environment specifically designed to help our guests discover what it is we believe about membership and how to connect and serve at Upstate Church @ GVL Convention Center.
