Paul got to the end of his life and said, “I have fought the good fight.”
Every man is in a fight. The only question is whether or not we realize it.
We are in a fight for our marriages.
We are in a fight for our kids.
We are in a fight for our holiness.
We are in a fight for God’s kingdom.
The good news is we are not alone in this fight. God has given us other brothers to stand alongside and fight with us! We want to bring the men in the Upstate together for 2 days so that we can learn to fight for what really matters and we can learn to fight God’s way.
Join us as we seek to fight the good fight.
“This now is the Word of God”
Those six words spoken at the beginning of each sermon preached by Dr. Ted Traylor is the foundation of his ministry.
Having served as pastor of Olive Baptist Church since 1990, Pastor Traylor’s heart is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus. His bold and practical preaching brings listeners to a fresh understanding of the Bible and challenges Christians to become bondservants for Christ. His greatest ministry honor is serving the Olive family and Pensacola community.
A lifelong enthusiastic sports fan, Pastor Traylor’s coaching style of leadership allows teams to develop their spiritual gifts as they serve in joy. Mentoring and training young pastors is a particular passion, as he teaches in various conferences through the year. To deliver the consistent message of knowing Christ and making Him known is the heartbeat of all he does.
Pastor Traylor is known for his uncompromising stand on Biblical issues and strong defense of the Christian faith. In addition to serving as First Vice-President of the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000 and President of the Florida Baptist Convention in 1995, Dr. Traylor was President of the Southern Baptist Convention’s 2004 Pastors’ Conference, 2010 Pensacola Bay Baptist Association moderator, and was part of the 2010 Great Commission Resurgence Task force team. Currently Dr. Traylor is a speaker for NAMB’s Who’s Your One conferences and proud to serve on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes board for the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!).
